Sofie Bäckman is an experienced educator and educational leader who has worked in various capacities within the Swedish educational system. From 2007 to 2015, Sofie served as Arbetslagsledare and Lärare at Motala kommun, where they led pedagogical development and mentored new teachers. They then spent time as a Gymnasielärare at Linköpings kommun from 2015 to 2020, participating in a research program aimed at enhancing distance learning. In their most recent role as Undervisningsråd at Skolverket, Sofie manages school development issues and collaborates with various educational stakeholders.
