Becky McDowell is a passionate education leader specializing in STEM instructional and assessment design, with extensive experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating PreK-8 science curricula. Currently serving as the Head of Curriculum at SKOOL21 and CEO of STEM in Action Educational Consulting, LLC, Becky's work focuses on creating innovative STEM educational resources and providing professional development for educators globally. Previous roles include positions as a Science Assessment and Instructional Designer at Newsela and a Gifted Education Teacher at Brandon Valley School District, among others. Becky holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is pursuing a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wyoming.
