Thomas Prätzlich

Thomas Prätzlich has a strong background in research and innovation in the field of audio technology. Thomas began their career as a Researcher/PhD Student at the International AudioLabs Erlangen in 2012 and worked in this role until November 2016. Thomas then joined Fraunhofer IIS as a Researcher & Developer in December 2016 and stayed until June 2017. Thomas then moved on to BMAT Music Innovators where they worked as a Research Engineer and Innovation Associate from September 2017 to August 2018. Most recently, they worked as a Lead Data Scientist at Skoove starting in February 2019.

Thomas Prätzlich received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Bioinformatics from Universität des Saarlandes in 2008. Thomas then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it in 2012. During their Master's program, they participated in the Erasmus exchange program at Goldsmiths, University of London, specifically in the computing department from 2009 to 2010. After completing their Master's, Thomas Prätzlich attended FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2012 to 2016, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
