Anders Henriksson

Anders Henriksson currently serves as Ordförande for Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner (SKR) since November 2019, having previously held the position of 2:e vice ordförande for SKR. Prior experience includes leading the regional council in Region Kalmar län from January 2006 until November 2019, overseeing approximately 7,000 employees and a financial budget of 7.8 billion kronor. Anders has also been a member of the working committee and board for Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner from March 2010 to March 2019. Additional roles include landstingsråd responsible for health care at Landstinget Kalmar län (2001-2005), ombudsman for Socialdemokraterna i Kalmar län (1995-2000), and ombudsman at LO Sverige (1989-1994).
