Axel Darvik

Axel Darvik currently serves as a Gruppledare och styrelseledamot at Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner since November 2022, leading the liberal group of regional and municipal politicians. Concurrently, Axel has been a Kommunalråd for the Liberalerna party in Göteborgs Stad since November 2020, contributing constructive criticism and broad consensus solutions during the opposition. Previously, Axel was the CEO and co-founder of Trendie AB from January 2011 to December 2020, and worked as a Business Developer at Biofrigas in 2011 and an Analyst at NCC in 2009-2010. Early experience includes serving as a Summer Associate at JKL and as a Member of Parliament for Folkpartiet Liberalerna from 2002 to 2006, focusing on the Committee on Education and Research. Axel holds a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and has further educational experience at Stanford University and UC Berkeley in 2009.
