Markus Bylund

Markus Bylund currently serves as the Head of Digitalization and Innovation at Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner and as an Expert at Regeringskansliet, Socialdepartementet, focusing on the national medication list registry development. Bylund's experience includes being a Member of the Board at Lantmäteriet and Vice-chair of the Board at the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority, in addition to fulfilling the role of CIO at Region Gävleborg. Previous positions include Director of Strategy IT and Digitalization at Uppsala kommun, IT Strategist at Inera AB, and various advisory roles at SICS Swedish ICT and Fores. Bylund holds a PhD in Computer and Systems Sciences from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, alongside additional leadership and computer science qualifications from prominent institutions.
