Anna Silva

Anna Silva has over 13 years of experience in the design industry. Anna began their career in 2007 as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Fyness Design, where they were responsible for professional web site design/development and web/print graphic design. In 2011, they took on the role of Lead UI/UX Designer at AndPlus LLC, where they were responsible for user interface and user experience design, web design, and mobile app design. In 2014, they worked as a Mobile App Designer on a contract basis at Velir, where they set UX frameworks and conceptualization for mobile app designs, created wireframes and sitemaps for app flow, and translated wireframes and concepts into compelling designs for android, iOS, and Windows platforms. In 2015, they were hired as a Senior UX Architect at Mobiquity, Inc., where they produced UX and UI deliverables and directed junior designers in the production of UX deliverables. In 2016, they joined Toast, Inc. as a Sr. Product Designer, where they were accountable for conducting in-depth user research and driving the development of innovative app designs on web, mobile, and a variety of other hardware devices from conceptualization to implementation. Finally, in 2018, they joined Skreens as a Sr. Product Designer, where they were responsible for optimizing existing user interfaces for better user productivity, discoverability, and simplicity.

Anna Silva attended Belmont High School before obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Endicott College between 2002 and 2005. Anna then went on to attend Boston University in 2010 and 2011 to study Graphic and Web Design. Anna also holds a Certificate in Graphic and Web Design from the Center for Digital Imaging Arts.
