Dave Appel

Dave Appel is an experienced product development professional with a background in mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Vice President of Product at Skullcandy Inc. since April 2023, Appel also founded Haus of Powers in May 2022. Previously, Appel held the position of Engineering and Product Development Manager at Rich Products Corporation, where responsibilities included managing engineering teams and leading product designs. Prior roles include Global Product Director at Boardriders, overseeing the development and market direction of snowboarding products, and Oakley Eyewear Product Development Engineer at Luxottica, managing the development of plastic injection molded eyewear. Additional experience includes positions at Burton Snowboards and Scholle Corporation, focusing on product management and project coordination. Appel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
