Emily Townsend

Emily Townsend has a diverse work experience spanning different industries, with a focus on finance and accounting. Emily is currently a Co-Founder at SKUTOPIA and Workit Spaces, both roles which started in 2020. Prior to this, they worked at News Corp Australia from 2015 to 2020, holding positions including Commercial Finance Manager, Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, and Finance Analyst. Emily also worked at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson as a Commercial Analyst from 2013 to 2014. Before that, they had roles at GSK, including Financial Accountant in the Global Integrations Team and Financial Analyst in the Financial Consolidation and Reporting Team from 2008 to 2011. Emily began their career as an Auditor at PKF Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers (Australia) from 2004 to 2006.

Emily Townsend has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Adelaide, which they completed from 2001 to 2003. Emily then pursued further education and became a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in February 2008 after completing a program in Accounting and Finance from 2004 to 2007.
