Mark Armstrong

Mark Armstrong has a long history of work experience in the media industry. Mark began their career in 1999 as a Staff Writer at The Vicksburg Post. In 2009, they moved to the Kerrville Daily Times where they worked as a Managing Editor and Assistant Managing Editor. In 2016, they became the Editor and General Manager of the Gainesville Daily Register. In 2018, they joined the University of North Texas College of Education as a Senior Communications Specialist, where they worked with internal and external media to promote the College of Education, designed and created print and digital promotional materials, and managed the College of Education social media pages. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Technical Project Manager at Skvare.

Mark Armstrong attended Drury University, where they studied English Language and Literature, General. Mark also obtained a certification in Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues from LinkedIn in June 2021.
