Skwlāx Group Ltd. is the economic development arm of the Little Shuswap Lake Nation, operating out of Secwépemc territory in British Columbia's Shuswap region. SGL manages a diversified portfolio across hospitality, tourism, energy services, natural resources, and infrastructure supply.

Our businesses include Talking Rock Golf Course & Quaaout Lodge, Skwlāx Chevron, Skwlāx Resource Management, and Skwlāx Aggregates. Each has its own leadership and operational mandate. Together, they form a commercially operating holding company governed by an independent Board of Directors, with revenue flowing back to the Nation.

SGL is in a period of significant capital investment. After the 2022 wildfires, the Nation chose to build forward, not just rebuild. A new lodge is being developed as a premier Indigenous tourism destination. A rebuilt gas station will anchor growing community infrastructure. Wastewater facilities and new services are part of a broader plan to support long-term regional development. All of it is funded, in progress, and on timeline.

The portfolio is structured for durability. Talking Rock is one of BC's most scenic golf destinations, with championship-level play overlooking Little Shuswap Lake. Skwlāx Chevron provides dependable fuel and convenience services across the Chase corridor. Resource Management balances forestry and land management with ecological responsibility, guided by traditional Secwépemc knowledge and modern best practices. Aggregates supplies quality materials for construction and infrastructure projects in the region.

SGL operates with professional management, a lean structure, and a clear mandate: build stable enterprises that generate returns and serve the Nation's long-term interests.

We welcome partnerships, investment conversations, and collaborators who take a generational view. Connect with us.
