Andy Thornton

Andy Thornton is an experienced Output Editor for Video & Audio at Sky, with a tenure beginning in November 2007. In this role, Andy oversees VOD, streaming, and audio output for Sky Sports' digital platforms, collaborating with various teams to ensure optimal content is identified and promoted. Previous positions at Sky include Chief Video Sub Editor, where oversight of video and audio output was provided, and Video Team Manager, responsible for managing a team to produce and curate content across multiple platforms. Prior experience includes roles at Sit-up Channels as a Producer and at Teletext Holidays as a Researcher. Andy holds a Level 5 certificate in Professional Sports Journalism from NCTJ and a Bachelor's Degree in Film, TV and Radio Studies from the University of Staffordshire.
