Andy Walker

Andy Walker is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design. Currently serving as Principal Cloud Architect at Sky since August 2021, Andy focuses on integrating new technologies into customer management platforms while ensuring compliance with security and operational policies. Previously, as an Infrastructure Architect at Tesco Bank, Andy played a key role in migrating services to cloud platforms. Additional experience includes roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland as a UNIX Systems Administrator and a decade at BSkyB, where Andy advanced from Environment Designer to Data Centre Architect, leading significant strategic initiatives. Andy's career began in 1999 at Securicor Information Systems, progressing from a Functional Tester to various Unix administration roles. Andy holds an MEng in Engineering from the University of Aberdeen.
