Ian Chicken has extensive experience in the telecommunications and motorsport industries, beginning with a role as an Earth Station Technician at Cable & Wireless PLC Ascension Island from 1986 to 1990. Over the years, Ian has held various positions including ISMC Engineer at Mercury Communications, SME roles at Equant and Global One, and Team Leader at IDT. Ian's proficiency in operational roles is evidenced through work at Nortel Networks, where responsibilities included provisioning and O&M, as well as contributing to service reliability at Sky. In addition to technical expertise, Ian has played a significant role in administering motorsport-related platforms, serving as Administrator for both the Total Arse Racing Team and Le Mans: Who? When? Where?, and currently as Manager for Sportscar Worldwide. Ian obtained a Higher National Certificate (HNC) from Riversdale College of Technology between 1982 and 1985.
