Pete MacAskill

Pete Macaskill has extensive experience in the media and broadcasting industry, currently serving as the Group Head of Content Experience at Sky since February 2011, where responsibilities include managing content experience operations across the UK, Italy, and Germany. Previously, Pete led teams focused on EPG guides and content metadata, significantly improving team engagement and performance. An accomplished leader, Pete has also managed regulatory compliance, broadcast operations, and studio bookings, achieving notable increases in departmental satisfaction scores. Prior to Sky, Pete owned Giant Macs and held various roles at Flextech Television, Carlton Television, and TS MS, gaining a solid foundation in operational management and scheduling. Pete holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons in Economics from the University of Wolverhampton.
