Peter Bale

Peter Bale is the Head of Platform Infrastructure at Sky, where they oversee multiple delivery teams within Developer Platform Engineering. Bringing nearly a decade of experience in software engineering, Peter transitioned from roles such as Core Engineer and Senior DevOps Engineer to management positions, including Senior Engineering Manager. They focus on developing and implementing the Global Infrastructure strategy for products like Peacock and NOW, leveraging their deep technical expertise to drive innovation and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Peter began their career with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Portsmouth and has contributed to various open-source projects throughout their journey.
