Rohan Patel

Rohan Patel is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in broadcast and media systems. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Sky since October 2020, Rohan has previously held positions including Broadcast IP Service Delivery Engineer and Media Systems Engineer at Formula 1, where responsibilities included supporting post-production and configuring DVB compression systems. Prior experience includes roles as Digital Media Engineer and MCR Engineer at ABS Broadcast, overseeing MCR operations and ensuring effective installation and troubleshooting of playout servers and MAM architecture. Rohan began a career at First Global (UK) Ltd as an Operations Executive and contributed to a project on Routing in Wireless Sensor Networks during a brief engagement with City University London. Rohan holds an M.Sc. in Telecommunication and Networks from City St George’s, University of London, and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
