Mark Ross-Smith is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in broadcast systems and audio technology. Mark began his career at Sky in July 2014 as a Technology Graduate, progressing through a series of placements, including a role focused on audio system design. Mark later served as an Associate Design Engineer, contributing to the design and installation of Dolby Atmos audio delivery for Premier League Football. Mark's expertise continued to evolve in positions such as Engineering Manager and Senior PQ and Display Engineer, emphasizing work with HDR, UHD Playout, and cloud technologies. Prior to Sky, Mark completed a Student Placement at Dolby Laboratories, gaining valuable experience in Dolby technology. Mark holds a 1st Class BEng (Hons) degree in Electronic Engineering with Music Technology Systems from the University of York.
