Tamal Datta

Tamal Datta has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tamal is currently serving as the Vice President Asia Pacific and Japan for Skybuffer, an international SAP implementation and development company. Tamal is also leading Skybuffer India as the Managing Director. Prior to this, Tamal founded Alphaxine Solutions Private Limited, a digital company specializing in developing long-term digital strategies for clients.

Before that, Tamal worked at Capgemini as a Senior Consultant, where they were responsible for project implementation, roll out, and support in the field of SAP Project System and SAP Project Portfolio Management. Tamal also mentored young professionals in the functional domain.

Earlier in their career, Tamal worked at Indian Mininng as a Project Engineer, gaining experience in mine planning and preparation of reports.

Throughout their career, Tamal has demonstrated expertise in SAP implementation, project management, and digital strategy development.

Tamal Datta has a diverse education history. Tamal completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategy, Finance, and Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. Tamal also holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in VLSI & Micro Electronics from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (formerly WBUT). Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. Tamal Datta's educational journey started at Kulti High School, where they completed their Higher Secondary with a concentration in Science.

In addition to their formal education, Tamal Datta has also acquired several certifications. Tamal obtained the following certifications from SAP: "How to Build Chatbots with SAP Conversational AI" in December 2020, "Delivering Value with Intelligent Innovations in SAP S/4HANA" in November 2019, "Creating Trustworthy and Ethical Artificial Intelligence" in July 2019, "Intelligent Decisions with SAP Analytics Cloud" in July 2019, "Design Thinking and Challenge Management" in May 2019, and "SAP Leonardo Machine Learning Foundation – An Introduction" in November 2018. Tamal also holds certifications in project management and IT service management, including "PRINCE2® Foundation" and "ITIL Foundation" from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in August 2015 and July 2015, respectively. Additionally, Tamal Datta obtained the "SAP Project System Associate" certification in October 2012. Recently, they earned the "PRINCE2® Practitioner CPD" certification in June 2021, and previously, they obtained the "PRINCE2® Practitioner" certification in August 2015.
