Gena Simon

Gena Simon has extensive experience in the legal field. Gena is currently serving as the Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs at Skydance, a position they began in July 2020. Prior to this role, Gena worked as a Senior Counsel and Counsel in the same department at Skydance from January 2020 to July 2020 and November 2017 to December 2019, respectively. Before joining Skydance, they worked at Stone, Genow, Smelkinson, Binder & Christopher, LLP as an Associate from October 2015 to November 2017 and in the office of Chad M. Christopher, Partner from August 2013 to October 2015. Gena also gained experience as a Contract Attorney at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from May 2012 to November 2012 and as an Associate at Initiative Legal Group, APC from August 2011 to May 2012. Gena began their legal career as a Project Attorney at King & Spalding, LLP from May 2010 to December 2010. Gena's early experience includes working as an Attorney at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta / Health Law Partnership from October 2009 to May 2010 and as a Judicial Clerk for Judge T. Jackson Bedford, Jr. at the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia from May 2007 to August 2007.

Gena Simon earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2006. Gena then went on to complete their Doctor of Law (JD) degree at the University of Georgia School of Law from 2006 to 2009.
