Lexie Chu

Lexie Chu holds a prominent role in creative development for animated features at Skydance since 2021, where responsibilities include guiding projects from inception to release and enhancing cross-continental creative team dynamics. Previously, Lexie served as a pivotal external relations liaison, successfully integrating new talent into Skydance’s projects. As the founder and CEO of Asians in Animation, Lexie is dedicated to fostering global animation talent and bridging Hollywood with Asia. Past experiences include film development at Netflix, where Lexie guided animated features, and establishing the first Employee Resource Group in animation to promote diversity and support talent retention. Additional roles across various entertainment companies, including Illumination and Cartoon Network, showcase extensive expertise in production, marketing, and business development. Lexie holds a BFA from the University of Southern California and studied business at LSE.
