Laihock Chong

LaiHock Chong is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and operations, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at SkyeChip since May 2024. Prior to this role, LaiHock held the position of Sr. Director of IC Design Engineering at Intel Corporation from January 2016 to May 2024, and served as Sr. Director of Design Engineering at Altera from March 2012 to December 2015. Earlier in LaiHock's career, valuable experience was gained at Intel Corporation between 2002 and February 2012, where roles included Director of SoC Engineering and Sr. Design Engineering Manager. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Malaya.
