Michael Ohm

Michael Ohm has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, starting their career at Nokia Bell Labs in 2006. Michael worked as a Research Engineer in Wireless Communications before transitioning to the role of Innovation Project Lead for Air-to-Ground projects. In 2012, Michael joined Nokia where they held several roles, including Air-to-Ground Technical Lead and General Project Manager for Air-to-Ground projects. In 2016, they were promoted to Head of Air-to-Ground Business at Nokia. In 2019, Michael founded SkyFive.world where they currently serve as the Chief Technology Officer.

Michael Ohm received their initial education in Electrical Engineering - Telecommunications at the University of Stuttgart from 1995 to 2001, earning a Dipl.-Ing. degree. Michael then pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a Dr.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering - Optical Communications from 2001 to 2006.
