Tor S. is a seasoned professional in data and systems architecture, with a strong background in bioinformatics and software development. They have served as the Founder and CTO of Floormotion and currently hold the position of Tech Lead - Data at Skyfri. Previously, Tor worked as a Bioinformatician at Oslo University Hospital, where they contributed to clinical gene interpretation software and promoted modern development practices. Their extensive experience includes roles in various organizations such as Autism Speaks, Live Nation, and Tinder, where they focused on database management, web operations, and data engineering. Tor co-founded TheLab, a biohackerspace, and has a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
