John Bowles

John Bowles serves as the Director on the Board of Directors for the NASTT GLSLA Chapter, promoting trenchless technology education in North America. Since August 2006, John has been the President & CEO of Inversa Systems, which specializes in diagnostic information and asset management solutions for civil infrastructure and oil & gas industries. Additionally, John is the President and Founder of Eastern Trenchless Ltd., the largest trenchless construction contractor in Atlantic Canada, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Skygauge Robotics, a leader in drone-based ultrasonic testing. Involvements also include serving as a Director on the Board of Directors for EM&I Group and as the Chairman of the Board for CBDC Southwest, supporting entrepreneurs in business creation and expansion. John held the position of Vice Chair and Director on the Board for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce from 2015 to 2019 and was previously the Chairman of the Board for the UNB Rock and Ice Club. Educationally, John holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and nondestructive testing from the University of New Brunswick.
