Max Canham

Max Canham has extensive experience in air traffic management and operational safety, currently serving as the Manager of OPS Development Activities at skyguide since August 2007. In this role, Max oversees strategic activities and key account management while managing the implementation of free route airspace. Previous positions include Head of Airspace and Instrument Flight Procedure Design, and Manager FABEC Airspace and Routes, where responsibilities involved collaboration with various airspace authorities and international representation. Prior to skyguide, Max held several key roles at Airservices Australia, including Project Manager for the Operational Risk Baseline Project and Senior ATS Risk Specialist. Max's educational background includes a Master's degree in Risk Management and a Diploma of Aviation in Air Traffic Services, complemented by various certifications in risk management and business management.
