Jamine Moton has a diverse work experience in various fields. Jamine is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Skylar Security, a security services firm in metro Atlanta. Jamine focuses on providing exceptional customer service and aims to empower the security culture. Jamine also worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Georgia State University, supporting the Main Street Entrepreneurship Seed Fund program. Additionally, they served as a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Ambassador and Alumni, representing the program. Jamine was an alumna of the Women's Entrepreneurship Initiative and LaunchPad2X. Jamine received the Entrepreneur of the Year award from Women of Distington Atlanta. In their early career, they were a Police Sergeant at the Clayton County Police Department and worked in various roles at Youth Villages, specializing in crisis management and counseling. Jamine also attained recognition as a track and field athlete at Clemson University and received the South Jersey Athletic Hall of Fame Award.
Jamine Moton earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Education from Clemson University, which they attended from 1997 to 2002. Jamine then pursued a Master's Degree in Human Resources Training and Development, as well as Business Management, also at Clemson University, from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, Jamine obtained several certifications from the State of Georgia in 2015, including a Company State License, Private Investigator State License, Private Investigator & Security Guard Instructor certification, and Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Certification.
