Laura King

Laura King is a seasoned user researcher and people manager with extensive experience in the field of user experience design. Currently serving as the Staff User Researcher at Skylight Digital LLC since May 2019, Laura leads research, product management, and project initiatives for SimpleReport, a product facilitating rapid COVID-19 test reporting for numerous non-traditional testing facilities. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior UX Researcher at Aetna, where Laura contributed to health and wellness product features, and as UX Researcher at Pearson, focusing on digital textbook experiences. Early roles encompassed UX research at HomeAdvisor and BuyerQuest, as well as design responsibilities at IdeaBase. Laura holds a Master of Science in User Experience Design and a Master of Library & Information Science from Kent State University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in History from Ohio University.
