Neng Wang

Neng Wang is a highly experienced wireless systems expert with a focus on advanced network technologies and systems engineering. Currently serving as Principal Wireless Systems Lead at Skylo since July 2025, Neng Wang drives efforts in performance benchmarking and product roadmaps while collaborating with external partners and internal teams. Prior experience includes Senior Principal Architect roles at Mavenir, leading the systems engineering for 5G satellite and IoT-NTN products, and significant contributions at Huawei in modem algorithm development and standardization processes. Neng Wang's career also encompasses key positions at Qualcomm and Nortel Networks, where extensive work in wireless project leadership and research in standardization led to numerous patents and published papers. Neng Wang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University and a B.Eng. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
