Thomás Coronel has worked in various roles since 2017. In 2017, they were a Scholarship Holder and Academic Council at Instituto Balseiro. In 2019, they were an Intern at CNEA's Computational Mechanics Department, where they worked on two-phase flow numerical simulation using lattice Boltzmann model implemented on GPUs. In 2020, they were a Co-Founder & Project Engineer at Spacebee Technologies, where they helped to design the shape of the profile of the different areas of science needed to confront the challenge of making a Moon Rover and searching for team members. Additionally, they were an R&D Engineer at Skyloom Global, where they were responsible for developing concepts of the design of a physical configuration of an Optical Communication Terminal (OCT) and for the DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) and development of an OCT, including mechanical design of prototype and EDU.
Thomás Coronel completed a Bachelor of Engineering - BE from Universidad Nacional de Tucumán between 2015 and 2017. Thomás then went on to receive a Mechanical Engineer degree from Instituto Balseiro between 2017 and 2020. In 2022, they completed a Diploma in Austrian Economics from ESEADE.
