David Wickström has a long and varied work experience. David began their career in 1998 as a Consultant for Brainpool, where they worked as a programmer, web expert, and part-time Java programming teacher at IBM Sweden. David then moved on to become a Java Consultant for AMF Pension in 2003, where they worked on several projects for the Internet Bank. In 2007, they took on the role of Web Architect for Fora AB, where they were responsible for both hands-on programming and team coordination for several Java web projects. David also worked as a DevOp Consultant for SEB IT that same year. In 2009, they became the CTO for Much Different, where they worked on a multiplayer network solution, for the Unity3D game engine, called uLink. David then joined Campanja in 2012 as a Senior Erlang Programmer and Team Lead Machine Learning, where they worked on a big data platform. In 2015, they became a Data Scientist and VP of Engineering at [24]7.ai. In 2018, they joined Antler as an Antler Stockholm Cohort Member '19, where they pursued their dreams of starting their own startup. Finally, in 2019, they became the CTO and CEO of Skyqraft, a Swedish startup that uses drones to inspect powerlines.

David Wickström began their educational journey at La Fayette High School from 1991-1992. David then attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1994-1999, where they obtained an MSc in Economics, Telecommunications, and Computer Science. During this time, they also took a course at the Stockholm School of Economics in Entrepreneurship and Practical Business Startup in 1997.
