Alan Lee has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering field. In 2015, they began as Mechanical Group Lead at Cornell University Autonomous Underwater Vehicle. In 2017, they worked as a Mechatronics and Structures Engineering Intern at Siemens Healthineers. In 2018, they were a Vehicle Analysis Intern at SpaceX, followed by a Falcon Structures Engineering Intern role at SpaceX in 2019. In 2020, they became a Systems and Controls Design Engineer at Moog Aircraft. Currently, they are a Certification Test Systems Engineer at Skyryse, where they are working on FlightOS, the world's first universal flight deck and operating system.

Alan Lee attended Horace Greeley High School from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained their high school diploma. Alan then continued their education at Cornell University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2015 to 2019. Alan concluded their studies at Cornell University in 2019, receiving a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering.
