David DeFusco is currently serving as Chief Engineer at Skyryse since March 2024, focusing on enhancing the safety and accessibility of general aviation. Prior to this role, David spent nearly 18 years at Sikorsky, where contributions included roles as LM Fellow in Electromechanical & Hydraulic Control Systems and Engineering Manager for Flight Controls in Future Vertical Lift, among others. Additional experience includes a position as Senior Mechanical Engineer at Raytheon from December 2012 to August 2014. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
