Gary Wright

Gary Wright possesses extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, currently serving as the Director of Procurement and Workplace Experience at Skyscanner since June 2020. In this role, Gary has developed a Procurement Team focused on supporting the company's strategic objectives, encompassing areas such as Supplier Risk Management and Supplier Performance Management. Prior to Skyscanner, Gary held multiple leadership positions at NatWest Group from October 2011 to June 2020, including Lead Supply Chain Manager for Bó and Strategic Projects, where expertise in outsourcing and insourcing was applied. Gary's earlier career includes significant roles at BAE Systems, encompassing various procurement and contract management positions across high-profile projects such as the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier and the F-35 Programme. Gary holds a First-Class BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Strathclyde and has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply since 2014.
