David Humphries

David Humphries is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in maintenance management and public service. Currently serving as an Inspector/Inventory Control Specialist at Skytech, Inc. since June 2011, David has also held the role of Director of Maintenance at Burlington Aviation until June 2011 and previously worked as DOM at DOM - Skysouth Aviation, where responsibilities included managing maintenance for a Part 135 operator. David has been involved in community service as a City Councilman for Ward 6 in Gastonia, NC from November 2015 to November 2019, and as a Clover Planning Commission Member from July to December 2023. David's military experience includes serving as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the USAF from 1978 to 1994, with a focus on aircraft maintenance across various locations. Educational qualifications include an AAS in Aviation Systems Maintenance Technology from CCAF and a high school diploma from Hunter Huss High School.
