Mark Sims has extensive aviation and aerospace experience spanning over four decades. Starting as an Engineer in the Flight Dynamics Division at NASA Johnson Space Center from September 1981 to April 1986, Mark transitioned to the New Mexico Air National Guard as an F-16 Pilot and Instructor Pilot from April 1986 to October 1998. Following this, Mark served United Airlines from December 2014 to February 2022, holding various positions including Flight Instructor for the A319/A320, Sr. Staff Representative for Flight Standards and Technology, and Captain for the A319/A320/A321, alongside piloting and instructing on the B737, B757, and B767. Currently, Mark works as a UAS Flight Test Operator at Skyways since June 2024. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained in 1981.
