George Bitar

George Bitar is a board member at Skyword and a successful businessman with over 25 years of experience in the industry. George has held various management positions during their career, including co-head of North America for Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity, where they were responsible for investing in excess of $7 billion of capital and managing a team of over 70 professionals.

Bitar has also served on the board of directors for a number of private and public companies, including The Hertz Corporation, HCA Hospital Corporation of America, and Advantage Sales and Marketing. George has a wealth of experience in different industries, such as healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, banking, re-insurance, retail, and business services.

George Bitar has a MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Systems Engineering from Boston University.
