Aaron Sood

Aaron Sood is an engineering leader and AI strategist with over 13 years of experience in fintech, edtech, and Web3. Currently serving as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Slack, they previously held significant roles at Coinbase, where they drove initiatives that resulted in substantial growth, and at Upstart, where they led the modernization of core payment systems. Aaron co-founded MeetingZero and served as CTO at ProfStream, developing platforms that enhanced organizational decision-making and learning experiences. They also contributed as a Lead Technical Instructor at General Assembly and taught programming courses at AcademyX. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
