Abdul Munda

Abdul Munda is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Director of Engineering at Slack, Abdul has previously held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Engineering at Walmart Labs, where the establishment of a new Software Development division in Canada was successfully executed. Career highlights include leading various teams in frontend, mobile, and data initiatives, as well as architecting scalable systems and developing SaaS solutions. Prior positions include software development roles at Flipp, BiblioCommons, Incentivibe, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and BlackBerry, showcasing a strong foundation in a range of technologies and methodologies. Abdul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ryerson University.
