Carl Grimm

Carl Grimm serves as the Senior Manager, Technical Architect at Slack since August 2022. Previously, Carl held the position of Solutions Architect at Check, where the focus was on simplifying payroll through a payroll-as-a-service API. Prior to Check, Carl worked at Box in various roles including Lead of Growth and Strategy, Head of Consulting for the US West and ANZ regions, and Platform Practice Lead, all of which centered around consulting strategy and delivery. Carl's earlier experience includes significant positions at Avanade, where responsibilities included managing consulting practices and software engineering projects, along with roles at New Idea Engineering, Inc. and Firebelly, contributing to enterprise information systems and web development, respectively. Carl holds a B.S. in Finance from Miami University and completed education at Culver Academies.
