Dylan Steen

Dylan Steen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in frontend development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Slack since May 2022, Dylan has previously held significant roles at Petal from May 2019 to May 2022, including Tech Lead, Team Lead, Developer, and Front End Developer. Prior to this, an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant position at the University of New Brunswick involved providing technical guidance for software quality and project management courses. Dylan's early career included two co-op software developer roles at Populus Global Solutions Inc. in 2017 and 2018, where web-based software solutions were developed using Java and Angular. Dylan holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, obtained in 2019.
