Eric Vierhaus has over a decade of experience in engineering and technology roles, primarily within the software industry. At Slack, Eric served in multiple capacities, including Senior Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, and Senior Engineering Manager from June 2015 to July 2016, and later as a Staff Software Engineer and Technical Lead for the Enterprise pillar from June 2019 to February 2021. Prior to Slack, Eric was with Dolby Laboratories from July 2012 to May 2015, progressing from Senior Implementation Engineer to Manager of Professional Applications Engineering. Eric's career began as a Sound Engineer at Associated Sound in 2005. Academically, Eric holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Business and Music Performance from the University of the Pacific and a Master of Music degree in Music Technology from New York University.
