Hunter Petersen

Hunter Petersen is an experienced technical architect currently employed at Slack since September 2022. As a co-founder and technical advisor at OpenGrants, a role held since November 2018, Hunter has also served as co-founder and CTO. Prior experience includes a partnership as a web developer at Guerrilla Ventures from January 2015 to November 2018 and holding the positions of CTO and principal engineer at carbonBLU from January 2016 to October 2018. Additionally, Hunter worked as a whitewater program manager at Copper Oar Rafting from April 2014 to October 2016 and held two roles at Vail Resorts between October 2011 and February 2014. Hunter holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Communication Design from California State University, Chico.
