John Baek

John Baek is a highly experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer in the Security (Red Team) division at Slack since February 2021. With extensive experience in leadership roles, John has been the Philadelphia Chapter Co-Leader for the OWASP Foundation since March 2014. Previous positions include Red Team Lead at both TD Ameritrade and FusionX, as well as a Senior Manager at Accenture. Earlier in the career, John held key roles including Director of Technical Services at The BTB Group, LLC, and Senior Manager at Protiviti. John began the professional journey as a Senior Information Security Consultant at Core BTS after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Dartmouth College in 2002.
