Nathan Collman

Nathan Collman has extensive experience in engineering leadership and software development, currently serving as Director of Engineering at Slack from August 2021 to August 2025. Nathan's career includes roles as Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager at Slack, Engineering Manager and Technical Lead at Thriver from March 2017 to July 2021, as well as a Front-End Developer at Uken Games from July 2014 to March 2017. Nathan also has experience as a Teaching Associate at BrainStation in August 2015 and as a Teaching Assistant at McMaster University from September 2012 to December 2013. Nathan holds a Master of Applied Sciences in Software Engineering from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.
