Patrick Perry is a highly experienced data scientist with a robust background in statistics and data analysis. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Slack since July 2025, Patrick has previously held several significant positions at Oscar Health from 2018 to 2025, including Director of Data Science, Associate Director of Data Science with a focus on network optimization and value-based care, and Lead Data Scientist specializing in clinical data. Prior to that, an academic tenure at NYU Stern School of Business from 2011 to 2018 as Assistant Professor in Statistics involved developing innovative methods for analyzing complex data and contributing to peer-reviewed journals, while also teaching various statistics courses. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Harvard University. Patrick holds a PhD and an MS from Stanford University, along with a BS in Mathematics with Honors from the same institution.
