Ricardo Bion

Ricardo Bion is currently the VP of Data Science and Analytics at Slack, where they lead Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics. Previously, they served as the Senior Director of Data Science at Instagram, guiding a team of over 60 data scientists focused on Ads and Monetization. Prior to that, Ricardo was the Director of Data Science at Airbnb, managing a team of more than 100 data scientists responsible for various aspects of the vacation rental and hotel markets. Ricardo holds a PhD from Stanford University and is also engaged in graduate studies at the University of Eastern Finland, along with Master's degrees from the University of Potsdam and Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
