Stewart Taylor is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across the tech industry. From September 2013 to June 2019, Stewart worked at LoopUp, where architectural expertise was applied to build a Video and Screensharing system utilizing technologies such as Kurento Media Server, Node.js, WebRTC, Wowza, React, and Redis. Following this, Stewart served as a Senior Software Engineer at Proxy until August 2020 and played a significant role in developing innovative solutions at Remotion from September 2020 to January 2022. Currently, Stewart is a Senior Software Engineer at Slack, contributing to Huddles. An early foundation in software development was established as a founder and indie game and mobile developer and further enhanced through experiences at Dundee University as a Web Authoring Lab Tutor and NCR Corporation as a software engineer intern.
