Vasu Jain is an experienced software engineer and leader with a strong background in AI-driven automation and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at Salesforce since July 2021, Vasu has significantly improved enterprise productivity through automation solutions. Vasu is also the Global Chair for Southasiaforce, enhancing community engagement within one of Salesforce's largest Employee Resource Groups. Previously at Slack, Vasu led DEI efforts and developed strategic plans for the Earthtones ERG while also architecting automation tools and integrations. Vasu's extensive experience includes roles at PayPal, Jarvis Technologies, Shutterfly, and early ventures in web engineering and teaching. Vasu holds a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Motivational Pathway.
