Nikos Koukis

Nikos Koukis has a wealth of experience in the robotics field. Nikos began their career in 2017 as a Junior Robotics Engineer at SLAMcore Limited, where they subsequently held the roles of Robotics Engineer, Robotics Product Engineer and Senior Robotics Product Engineer. In 2018, they became a Mentor at Google Summer of Code (GSoC) for MRPT (Mobile Robot Programming Toolkit). Nikos had previously been a Student at GSoC for MRPT in 2016. In 2021, they joined the Hellenic Army (KEPYES) as a Software Engineer, where they maintain and implements new features in large-scale Java and OracleSQL-based server applications, administers legacy Linux-based servers essential for production apps, and creates documentation and usage instructions for core components and tools including SVN, Git and Linux.

Nikos Koukis has a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, which they obtained from 2011 to 2017. In 2016, they took a course with Udacity. In 2015, they studied Engineering Science at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. From 2014 to 2019, they took courses with Coursera. Additionally, they have obtained a number of certifications from a variety of institutions, including Coursera, LinkedIn, Google, Duolingo, Board of European Students of Technology, edX, Typing Institute of America, and lynda.com.
